This one's for Glen Welsh

This picture, taken of a section in a complete band of artwork that encircles the entire U.S. Capitol Rotunda, is of the Orville Brothers testing their plane in the first flight. I dedicate this picture to my father-in-law, Glen Welsh, who spent many years serving our country in the Air Force, and also in the Federal Aviation Administration. I know if he would have saved everyone if he had been the pilot of that downed plane in the Hudson River. I know his efforts helped the airlines figure out better safety measures for those beautiful birds in the sky!
