This one's for "Scotchy"

One of my subscribers is fondly known to many as "Scotchy." Congressman Neil Abercrombie (D-HI) sends his fondest aloha. He said to remind you of the time you served in the Hawaii State Senate together. With a twinkle in his eye and a broad smile, Congressman Abercrombie relayed the following tale: He said there was one particular vote on the floor where he and Sen. Ben Cayatano (also former Hawaii Governor) thought you were on board. However, when it came to the vote, they voted "yea" and you voted "nay." Flustered, they charged into your office and exclaimed "What happened man? We thought you were going to vote with us. Your reply: "I was blinded by reason." He said you stumped them so bad that they left your office speechless! He still remembers to this day and he wanted to let you know.
Don't forget, everyone is welcome to comment on my blogs! I look forward to reading your comments! More posts forthcoming today, so check often!

  1. Congressman Abercrombie is one of the nicest persons you would ever want to meet. His smile lights up the room. I truly enjoyed visiting all of the Congressional Personnel with Karen. This was a great experience one I will never forgot. But, tell me really? Who will forget January 20, 2009 and the reason Karen was blessed to visit Washington, DC?
