The front of the White House. Notice how bundled up I am because it was cold, cold, cold! Many thanks to Angie's mom, Patsy, who lent me a thicker coat to endure the coldest weather that Angie can remember. Mahalo to Camille Walker who lent me another coat, which would have been perfect to wear if the weather had been warmer. No one knew I was going to the North Pole for the inauguration!

A full view of the front of the White House. We walked around three-quarters of the presidential home and I must say one has to walk a long way to see the entire thing!

This is the best picture I could get of the back of the White House because they have set up bleachers all along Pennsylvania Avenue for the 2009 Presidential Parade (see Presidential Parade Blogs). I really liked the stark contrast of the trees with the presidential home!
